What valediction would you use in a message of condolence?
I am writing a short message of condolence (through Facebook), to my boyfriend's aunt (whom I met once), who recently lost her mother. His aunt and I didn't speak in depth when we met, therefore I'm unsure which valediction is most appropriate. Is it acceptable to close the message with "My condolences"? Which valediction would you use?

my condolences is more appropriate for people you don't know well.
For family something along the lines of "thinking of you" or "take care" "all the best" would be more appropriate. Ads |

I think "my condolences" is very appropriate. You could also close with "sorry for your loss".
