there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook, not an optional update
this guide will help you learn how to use it http://abrax.us/Facebook/TimelineChecklist.php it will take you a few days to get used to the changes, but overall, it's much better than the old profile you can trick out your browser settings to IE7 to see your old page ONLY ON YOUR COMPUTER - EVERYONE else will still be seeing your timeline and all the stuff you dont want them seeing, so dont think for a minute it will protect your privacy, and in fact, it will anger anyone else who uses the same computer Ads |

Unfortunately jimmy your gonna have to learn to lOve it. Facebook is turning into marmite you either love it or hate it but the timeline is here to stay and there's no way to revert back to the old believe me I've tried too but just like the little changes on facebook that you can't get back this is the same. Sorry

There's no way to undo the Timeline upgrade. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are. |

DON'T LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE THAT SAY THAT YOU CAN'T REMOVE IT.
If you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, you CAN. Check out this website - http://www.techtipsandtricks.tk - Click on 'Computer', and then click on the "remove timeline view from facebook" link, make sure that the browser name in the link corresponds with the browser you use the most. You're welcome BTW do not click on the fbpurity link, it is a hack. |

There are 2 main options.
1) Software. This is by far the easiest way unless you want to mess around with your browser and computer settings. Recommended: PageRage. This will switch you back to the traditional Facebook layout and also allow you to add style to your page if you want (optional). 2) FBPurity. This is a user-made browser extension that modifies your Facebook profile. It works for some but has been known to be buggy. I recommend PageRage over FBPurity because it’s made by a real company, not some random guy. |

Facebook don't yet provide an official option to get Timeline off, still you have a method to revert back to old Facebook from Timeline, read it here and implement: http://techably.com/2012/02/revert-back-...-timeline/
Hope you find it useful. |
