How to talk to a girl on facebook?

I added this really good looking girl on facebook but I don't know her at all. My sister goes to a private school and they are in the same grade and know each other kind of. How can I strike up a conversation on facebook and get to know her with out sounds like a total creep
Iam a year older then my sister and I've done this before but with girls in my school

ok now if you're not a creeper and only like a year older than your sister and the girl she goes to school with then just strike the conversation up like hey you go to school with my sister right, and that's one reason you have to talk to the girl that your sisters school.
