If a father gets visitation of his child, does he still have to pay child support?
If a father gets weekend visitation of his child, but he and the mother split up and are not planning on living with each other ever again, does he still have to pay child support?

Yes. He can even be ordered to pay if he has sole custody of the child.

yes he does if the child is his or he adopted the child from a pervious relationship. if they are just seperated and not divorced they need to see a attorney to make sure the child gets the money and that the spouse doesnt just not pay it ...

Not unless your child doesn't need someplace to live, clothes to wear, food to eat and any type of medical attention. You know, silly things like check-ups.
So if your child is completely self sufficient then no. You don't have to pay a cent. |
