Because it's uncomfortable and impolite. In this age of social media and friends' lists, it seems to me that many have forgotten how to mind their own business and keep their noses out.

Ditto Kenneth.
Back before everyone was a minicelebrity with their twitter and FB/orkut/whatever, people had this wonderful concept of encapsulating parts of their lives. What you do at home is separate from what you do at work (much less at church or in total privacy). This keeps distractions and "inappropriateness" at a minimum. Most people simply do not like nosy, busybody people intruding and demanding attention. I'm curious why YOU think it's ok. Are you mentally ill? Brain damaged? Just crazy? |
