I have exact same problem today with my IE. I use IE8 and today it sends me to mobile twitter.
it's fine with FF and Chrome though. I just hope it's a problem from twitter and not my pc |

I'm having the same problem & it's driving me NUTS!!!! Lets me log in fine on firefox but I don't like using firefox & hate to be FORCED to have two browsers open just to use the desktop/non-mobile version of twitter. Also cleared my cache/history & same results but at least I know i'm not the only person running into this problem!

If you use Twitter on your Internet Explorer 6 or 7 browser, then you will see mobile.twitter.com instead of twitter.com when you log in.
Not all twitter.com features are compatible with IE6 or 7, so we have started to direct all IE6 and 7 users to mobile.twitter.com to provide the most stable experience within the browser. |
