How is the Media not powerful?
I have been assigned to a question for my English assignment and I have to do a debate on 'How the media is not powerful' I would usually agree and say it is powerful, So I am really struggling to agree with the opposite side of the story. Can you please help me in paragraph forms on whats your opinion?

You might argue that the media is less powerful because the internet, and more particularly social media, undermine corporate / editorial control. Smart phone technology may allow messaging to large groups of friends. If you can argue a "free market" composed of "rational actors" rather than "manufactured consent", you might say that the media is a slave to the customer, and will only be able to publish and disseminate what the buyer wants to know.

Diffused of some of their powers, there are more media outlets today that ever before.
