What will the 2010s be like?
Do you think they will be similar to 2008/2009? Are we already there in some ways?
I get the feeling the 00s will be seen as quite old and embarrassing in the 2010s. It's a decade lucky. 10 years. Ads |

I truly believe we will be close to the light at the end of this dark tunnel we are currently in.

Closer to the Twilight Zone, Oriely will be criticized for being too soft by someone who's 10 x's what Oriely was. Subliminal advertizing gallore until you start questioning reality. Example: Try pepsi coke (huh, I thought coke was different @-|), studies say it has special intestinal health properties, like ippipin and guacola 3, which is why homo sapiens (huh, you mean creatures who use money to buy your product?) love it.

this "emo" thing will be remembered as kindof a silly trend, and we will be glad it's in the past.
computers will be a bit faster than they are today, but they will not increase in speed as much as they did in the 90s. medicaid and medicare systems will experience constantly worsening financial problems. the original world of warcraft will turn 6 years old in Nov 2010. i'm thinking by then it will be technologically far behind enough that it will have lost most of its customer base (hopefully to be replaced by a Blizzard sequel?). mobile phones will continue getting smaller, and incorporate more memory and processing power. mobile multimedia applications will be expanded to take advantage of this power. web advertising will grow more sophisticated (and successful). facebook will be viewed as the "microsoft" of social networking, and Mark Zuckerberg will be viewed as the new Bill Gates. the United States will still be enmired in Iraq and Afghanistan. Alternative fuel sources will become more practical. alternative refueling stations will become more common, and mainstream oil companies will add alternative fuels to the list of products they sell. interesting question! that's it for my prognostications. what are some of yours? =] |

Well for one thing better than the 2000s but not really different.
Expect some huge changes though. |
