What to do when you lose a cell phone?
I lost my cell phone at college today. I asked people where I could go to report I lost a phone but when I went there, there was no one in the room..So I gave up and came home. I hardly do anything with a cell phone anyway, i basically use it as a watch. If I were to deactivate it, will a person be able to view text messages and get online..Cause I have my facebook & twitter saved on there?

Immediately contact your service provider. Borrow a friends phone and look up the companies support phone number one the internet if you need to. You should be able to put the phone on hold until you find it or replace it.
The last thing you need is someone taking off and calling around the world and wracking up charges on it. Also dastardly would be using it to send bad messages to your friends and family. Ads |

If you want to keep your number call your cell phone provider and have them put a hold on the phone. No one can get on the internet if the it's on hold. Any texts you have on there are for anyone to see.

If your phone doesn't have a passcode on it, yes they can still read your messages, view pictures, ect.
If your phone has WiFi built In it then yes they can go to your facebook and change things. If your phone doesn't have WiFi then they can't ONLY if you deactivate your phone.. When you deactivate your phone, it will stop everything from working except wifi (only if your phone has it) |
