Pope calls for redistribution of wealth?
VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Benedict XVI urged world leaders on Monday to try to reduce the growing gap between the rich and the poor in regions such as Europe as they reform their economies.
The pontiff also used his annual New Year's speech at the Vatican to diplomats to press concerns he had raised in his Christmas Day message: calling for an end to Syria's civil war and its growing death toll, including many innocent civilians. He said he hopes Jerusalem will one day become "a city of peace and not of division." Are you with him on his stance for equality? Ads |

Perhaps he could start by giving away some of the funds in the Roman Catholic Church which happens to be the richest church in the world.

Is he asking it be redistributed by choice, and through the charity of your choice, or is he asking you to give it to the government, who will decide when, where, how much and to whom it's distributed to?
Two VERY different things. |

The 80's mantra of Greed is good still echoes to the farthest corners of outsource American corporatist. The bar has been lifted to the highest perceived standard all that is left is for the masses to go underground and flee to the mountains. The corporate vision of the 90's elitism

Well maybe he can give up his money first and then we can eliminate the catholic church and use that one trillion to pay off our debt instead
