I have Theater Arts 2 this semester and our Publicity team is trying to come up with other ideas to advertise our upcoming play ANON(ymous). We have the ideas of t-shirts, tv and radio brodcasting, youtube/internet video ad., fliers, posters, and socializing networks such as: myspace, facebook, twitter, etc. Any other ideas?

You could do sample scenes from the play in a Mall or other gathering area that might give people a sneak peak to the play.

Post local flyers at your grocery stores and business. but get manager approval first. even if there is read a board available, ask the store(s) if they will help by post it for ya. I've done this in the past for events too. Wish ya the best!

Have the cast walk around in small groups singing some of the songs from the play in the halls of your school & in the area of the school. Make people ask questions to gain interest in the production
