Will my phone still work in a foreign country?
I live in Ireland and Im going to France for 7 weeks to visit my dad. My phone is a Blackberry Curve 8520 and Im with o2. Will my bbm and facebook, twitter apps still work if Im connected to the WIFI? or do I need credit on my phone for it to work?

I don't think so. But it's not like you have to buy a new phone. Probably just change you're location of settings..

It depends on whether your phone is dual band, tri band or quad band. If it's dual band, it will work in your continent. If it's tri band, it will work in Europe, Africa and Asia but not the US. And finally, if it's Quad band it will work pretty much anywhere in the world. Hope i helped
