How to get a lot of followers on twitter ...?

I heard that there was this site that puts you on a list or something in order for you to get a lot of followers on twitter. Is it safe or should I not be giving away information if it asks for it?

You do not have to give "accurate" information to any site that requires your name address etc...
With the exception of a valid email address....as they sometimes send an "activation email"..but even this can be bypassed; Just create a secondary "trash" email on Yahoo or someplace that you only check every so often if you don't feel comfy giving out your real email address..
I have one on Yahoo that I only check once a week and it usually only full of SPAM..gone in one click.
So be careful who you give your Primary email address to, because it is sometimes hard to know who or what companies they may sell your email address to...so keep at least two..one for friends and family whom you trust, and a second for new internet friends (think of it as a "probationary" period until you know you can trust them, you can always give them your primary one later, and it will even make them feel
"special" :-)...
but mainly for the type of websites and ads you mention is the purpose of the secondary email address...every thing else just make something up...phone number etc...for these kind of websites, etc...
