Am I the only person that gets annoyed by political ranting on Facebook?
I get so annoyed by some of my Facebook friends who constantly complain about the president or anything political. Every once in a while I will post something political but it's not attacking people for their beliefs it's just like opinions on political articles. I have one friend who constantly posts about how much she hates Obama and I just want to be like STFU!

I do occasionally, it's just a case on whether you agree with them or not. If you get so annoyed, why not hide them from your news feed or delete them?

Yes, it especially irritates me when the person has different ideas than mine. I think that's common. It seems like there are really two choices:
You can take steps on FB up to unfriending these people or you can just put up with it. I choose to just put up with it. At least so far. |

Yeah, its annoying, obviously politics is important but bitching on Facebook about it doesnt really change anything.

You could stop being her friend or ignore her posts on Facebook.
I ended up putting a few of my friends posts on ignore because I just didn't agree with them or got them tired about talking things I didn't care about. It's better than burning bridges and honestly all their doing is ranting and looking for some people to applaud them. They're just looking for approval or as I like to say "yes men" to make their opinions more reasonable to themselves instead of looking into facts or admitting they might be a tinge wrong. Not saying I'm always right, because I'm not, but some people are really stubborn about changing their opinions and get defensive if you say.... anything really. So to answer your question bluntly you're not alone. |

I get annoyed by it when it's coming from a person who is not registered to vote. I have a friend who talks about politics (plus some ranting), yet she's never voted a day in her life; I've never understood that at all.
