Recording piano to a Macbook Pro?
I have a Macbook Pro 13" and a Yamaha DGX-640 keyboard. When I used to have a windows laptop I could plug in a male-male aux plug into my piano and then into my laptop and record using audacity. It was a bit dodgy but still better than recording outside from the speakers. Now I try to go into Garageband on my Mac and do the same thing but its not registering that I don't want to use the internal microphone, I want to use the aux plug. I have a plug in the back of my piano which says "Phones/Output" and normally that works, but when I plug it into my laptop, it won't show up in my "Sound panel" can someone explain to me how I can record good quality sounding music ? Like this - What I want my piano to sound like while I play it through to a computer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uto95f62oWM
please ? It's for my piano playing on youtube My Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/pooontoast12345 Ads |
