Does security tool virus affect the computer or the facebook account? Can I get it again by logging on to fb?
My friends computer was affected with the security tool virus because of my facebook account. We paid to have it removed. I'm afraid to log on to my account on my computer for fear of infecting it. Are my fb friends in danger of getting the virus from my account? Anyway to protect against this virus other than no facebook?

I have it on my computer as well, luckly I managed to removed by cleaning registers. It didn't affect any of my "secret" data, and it's few months after my computer was "attacked". The purpose of Security Tool was to force you to buy their "security tool" to clean your computer. It was (it is?) a scam. But it's not affecting your password's security etc. So I say use it!

You shouldn't have paid for Security Tool because it's a virus! Facebook can't infect your PC, so there might be some kind of fake update which done its malicious job. Try these instructions for fixing everything:
