why wont my dell with vista show the option for factory image?
I need to set my dell latitude d620 with vista back to new. I have done what everyone says with hitting "f8" but it never shows the option for "factory image"?

It is possible that in the past the harddrive was re-formatted and your system recovery partition is long gone.
The only solution would be to google search for the factory image or order a replacement disk from dell. They can ship it to you if you tell them that you accidentally formatted the recovery partition Ads |
