Twitter follow limit?
So I got up to following only like 1,700 people and it said I reached my twitter follow limit. So I deleted a bunch of people and now I'm following like,1,061 but it STILL says I reached my limit? I deleted the people yesterday and today I still got the error message. So I'm following 1,061 and have 258 followers. How can I get to follow more people? There is suppose to be at least a 2,000 follower limit :/

Twitter knows you are not going to read the tweets of 2000 people. You are doing this to get more followers, doing the "Follow - Back" - or better known as. ""Im not really popular but the number says i am! *yay* """ mind set.
Either way to prevent this they setup limits which prevent you from following 2 many people in one day. They want actual popular people to be popular and get this ridiculous notion, follow back, actually gains notoriety. Points. 1. Follow people your actually going to read, not because they will follow you back 2. Write useful things that people actually want to follow. Not how you broke a nail. 3. something's wrong with twitter. You're only following like 1,700 people?
look at justin bieber's account. He follows like 119,000 people. you don't see him hitting the follow limit. |
