It is. Don't ever download anything. Normally, you cant get a virus by only going to these sites. Only if you download something suspicious you get in a mail.

Do not use the internet, that is the only way possible.

You will probably never get a virus from those sites, par the fact that you don't open any weird E-mails on hotmail or Gmail, and then download that content to your laptop.
You get viruses from unreliable sites and sources where you download from. EG porn sites, crack sites and other sketchy ones. If you only go to the sites mentions above, it will be very unlikely that you catch a virus. (again I repeat that you must not download any strange attachments from hotmail E-mails send to by spammers etc) |

Very unlikely. Sometime, somewhere, you will get a virus. It seems a fact of life these days.

Lee Reily is spot on right.
Safest PC - one which has never connected to the net. Facebook - not a safe site. YouTube - not a safe site. For them that say use a Mac: http://media.laptoplogic.com/upload-imag..._vs_pc.jpg |

Yes, it is possible never to get a virus, if you stop using cheap bugged Micro2oft operating systems. Use Linux / Mac / BSD.

Yes easily
If you are resonably competent the best thing to do is to get a Virtual Machine VMware that sits in windows. Download a free VMware App such as Ubuntu surf through that. 1st Ubuntu won't pick up the majority of nasties 2nd Keep a copy of the VMware app If you then by some amazing fete you do manage to infect the Virtual Machine just delete it and copy the copy and start to surf again easy as. |
