Is not texting that much a sign of maturity?
I'm only 20 but I've noticed that since i've started college, my texting has gone WAY down from what it was in high school. I don't get on social media near as much as I did in high school either.
Am I just an old soul at a young age or what? I'm not sure if this is the right section for this question but.. oh well Ads |

It could, but it sure means that you and your friends are a lot more busy than you were during high school.

Your need for 'gossip' has certainly downed, this is a sign of maturity. But you should not lose your thirst for information and friendship that texting/social networking brought you in the past. As long as you can find other ways of gaining this knowledge and friendship without these devises then more power to you

like ROFL said, it could mean you are more busy with college work. or you just simply aren't as interested in texting. perhaps you're realizing just how needless most of what we text is and refrain from using it pointlessly.

I don't think so. Ninety percent of people who say they don't text, simply can't spell. Even my mom texts. The people who won't, that's usually the real reason. You're probably just busier than you used to be, that's all. And if you're already in a relationship, that cuts it down a lot. But it has little to do with age, in my experience. Usually, it has everything to do with a persons English skills.
