Is it safe to post my artwork on Facebook?
I've heard about the copyright and that once you post something on Facebook it's no longer your's, that it belongs to them.
I've posted a few of my drawings on my Facebook page and they're really good. One of them I want to use for a portfolio so I can get into college, but again the copyright. Why do they do that anyway? That's someone's personal business. Is this true? Does my work belong to them now? Ads |

It wouldn't make a difference if they didn't. There are at least a hundred programs that anyone can use to copy them even if you write code to protect them from being copied. At best, your only protection would be extensive watermarks.

That is a misconception
if you post something like artwork on Facebook it is still yours they don't own it, they don't have the right claim ownership of your work but they do have the right to back up any content you post on your account, Facebook is a social networking site other than the graffiti style artwork in their offices they have no use to use anybody's artwork that is posted on their site. |
