Twitter Terms Explained? - ie 'RT' etc?
A little new at using twitter, but having a good go at it anyway!
Just wondering what some of the language features are - ie @(insertname) 'tags' someone (?) and #(insert word) highlights a word?? Also, what does 'RT' mean? - Response To?? Finally - is it possible to access a page which has tweets ABOUT you ie, my twitter name is beeduncan, is it possible to view tweets that have @beeduncan in them?? Please add in any additional info along the lines of the stuff I'm trying to find out here! Thank you, and happy tweeting! (hope I didn't sound like a *complete* ameteur saying 'tweeting'! That's the right phrase, no?) Ads |

@insertname is to send tweets specifically to them, they will see it
RT is retweeting, usually to propagate news/comments tags like #tag are for people searching, so they can find tweets about the topic #tag easily. I dont use twitter myself but i'm sure there's more detailed guides arounds Ads |
