What does "via" on Facebook mean?
I don't use facebook often, what on earth does "Via" stand for / mean?

It refers to the platform from which you sent your post. Some people send posts via mobile. Other will send them via games they play on Facebook, or any third-party app that users integrated with their Facebook accounts.

If A shared B post, then C who see what A shared in C's Newsfeed want to share it ➤ unless C removed the 'via' thing, it will then show in C's and C friends' Newsfeed: the sharing things with "C via A" on top.

"Via", on FB, means the same as it does anywhere else:
By way of, or simply by Via Airmail = by way of airmail Via phone = by phone |
