Would flickr be considered a "social media sight " ?
I want to enter a pet photography contest and it the rules said this
"Entrants may not copy or otherwise plagiarize the Entry from any source. No Entry shall contain any content that has been previously published in any medium (excluding any social media site) or submitted in any other competition." Does that mean I can't enter any photo's that I have put up on flickr ? thanks Ads |

Yes it is. You can safely enter your photos that have been uploaded to Flickr.

As far as I know Flick would be concidered a social media site, so you should be safe to enter your pictures into the contest.

You're good to go, Anna.
The Keyword here is 'Excluding'. Social media sites are set apart as an exception in these terms. As long as you've only published the photos on social media sites(or have not published at all), you can enter them into this contest without fear of disqualification. |

if it can't be accepted because it's on flickr, then just take it off in the meantime.
