Is it weird to thank people for accepting your friend request on facebook?
I do it all the time but I never see anyone else do it......
I only add people that I know and I want to express my gratitude to them when they accept. Ads |

Yes, yes it is weird.. If you added someone you don't know then say hi and get to know them. Other then that if you do know them then that's that and you're done,

Iv'e done it some times but not all of the time,i wouldn't say that it was totally weird.I loved it when I got a thank you message from someone for accepting their friend request.

No, not at all.
It is a polite way of acknowledging that someone accepted you into their world. It is a social networking, but as a society we always want to be on our P&Q's with manners, ya' never know that person might be a reliable connection down the round! |

yeah, it's kinda weird - it's a carry-over from myspace and friendster - but on those sites, people added strangers as friends, whereas that's against the rules on facebook
it's kinda a silly thing to do if you think about it |
