About Facebook birthday notifications?
Is there a way for Facebook to NOT send notifications (emails, notification messages) to my friends when it's my birthday, but still make it visible to them if they click on my profile?.
I want to know who actually remember my birthday instead of random wishes from people who I doesn't even know/haven't talked to in forever. Ads |

If you still want it to be visible, people you dont talk to very much will still be able to find out. so idk what the point of that is. you should just block the information altogether to see who truly remembers.

I don't think you can. once you put in your birth date into facebook, it will automatically send the notification on that day. but i am not entirely sure. you might be able to disable it if you dig around in the Settings. another alternative you can do is to disable your facebook on that day (or week since FB sends an email for birthdays in the week) and see who remembers to send their wishes once your reactivate your profile.

...That statement contradicts itself.
My Facebook account doesn't send notifications to my friends when it's my birthday. If you have it visible, it should appear at the top of your profile. When it's your friends' birthdays, there's a small event marker at the right side that states whose birthday it is 'today'. You can remove the ability to view your birthday, as in, not display it on your profile and see who remembers it then. |
