Re-invite a friend to Facebook?

I had invited a friend to facebook and they accidentally deleted the email request before answering it. Now, when I try to invite them again, my Facebook says that I have already invited them and won't let me do it again. Now what??

Send your friend an email with the link to Facebook's login screen (or just tell them to go to facebook.com to sign up). This is where they can register to join. Once they join, they will be able to confirm your friend request. It will show up on their page.
