Which gaming MOBO do you use, which one do you recommend, which one do you want, and why?
So I've been looking at MOBOs online for 2 days now and I'm finding it hard to pick a MOBO I want to use in my first build. I was wondering what people use for their gaming pc, and what they recommend. As of right now, I'm leaning towards the "GIGABYTE G1.Sniper 5 LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS" on Newegg.com.

I use the ASUS M5A97 R2.0
For me, if it works and doesn't break, it's good enough. Ads |

Depends on you budget. Generally any motherboard will do as long as it's the correct socket.

I have a ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition motherboard, and I love it. It has all the features I wanted and needed, and offers lots of upgrade potential. But its an LGA 2011, so it would not work for your build. I have heard good things about the Gigabyte G1 Sniper and definitely recommend you consider it. Also, take a look at the ASUS LGA 1150 motherboards because they have a few really good ones.
If you need any help you can contact me at https://www.facebook.com/pages/NBSN/205302762950470 Please include the link to your yahoo question so I can know what the issue is and I will respond as quickly as I can. Typically you will recieve a response within an hour, but it will depend on total workload. |
