New Twitter user here. Is it normal to have followers you don't know?
I just started using Twitter yesterday and I've already got about 8 followers and I have no idea who they are. Is this normal, or are these people "bots"? I'm not like a celebrity or anything so I don't know why they'd follow me is all.

Yes it is normal. People follow you just because they like your tweets or think your cool or something like that. Give me your name and I could follow you!
