How Can I Promote My Music and Band for Cheap?
As an independent music artist, I can only spend a small amount on publicity and promotion for my band. What is the best way to get attention? DatPiff, YouTube, SoundCloud or Twitter Followers? I would also like to get News coverage of our new single.

Create your own business cards and distribute them.... $10 gets you 250 cards from Vista Print. Or buy a software pkg for $10-20, plus a box of 'card forms' for $25, plus printer ink...and make your own.
Consult with the advertising dept of your local newspaper. Our paper prints a "business directory" (business cards) each week. 12.50 a week; minimum 12 weeks. Ads |

Go to a company that will promote your music-but not cost too much. One of the best places (they opened in the 90's) will do all of those services at once and can put you in the NEWs too. Just be sure you go with a reputable company so that your Twitter and YouTube don't get banned.
