Is it dumb to buy "likes" on Facebook?
Theres websites that if you pay a certain amount, they will give you likes on your Facebook page. Like i can pay 5$, and everyday i will gain like 200 likes for 2 weeks or something. Are these dumb ways to gain? Cuz i really want to make my page famous its been created 2 days ago and only has 44 likes (i didnt share it with my friend list yet)

Yes. So much money wasted on "likes" when you could spend it on something else.

Sometimes companies pay for likes because they believe this will provide a degree of reputability to them. "Wow, 10,000 people like this company - it MUST be good." Personally, I think this is silly - anyone who's been on FB more than a few weeks knows that likes can be bought, making this number meaningless.
Even sillier is when individual people buy likes. What, exactly, do they expect to gain from it? It's not like they're in business and need to convince potential buyers. |
