HELP!! Is she crazy or is there a deeper problem beneath the surface?
Hi, I would like help to find out what type of person would firstly believe that when she drinks and dances she is possessed by evil spirits (Demons), she has multiple sexual partners, posts on social media that she hates her father and wants to kill him because he allegedly abused her mother before she was even born and that there is nothing she hates more than coming back home from college during holidays.
Most recently accused her sister’s husband of attempted sexual assault, when he is adamant that he did not do it, and in turn has resulted in a strain on their marriage because of the husband emotional and psychological damage over these accusations. Her mother is oblivious to all of this and she believes her and thinks there is nothing wrong with her daughter and that has broken her relationship with her married daughter. I am a very close friend of the couple and I would love to help but do not know how. They are the best of friends and most loving people I have ever met; it would pain me to see them lose each other over something like this. Concerned friend Ads |

Look up borderline personality disorder. She sounds like a severe case.

This is a very serious concern about your friends. The root of the problem is hallucinations. Is she taking drugs? Please find out.
Try to suggest to her mother to bring her daughter to a psychologist. |

Yeah it could be Boardline, Bi polar, or Schizophrenia. Does she do drugs or drink heavily? It really sounds like she is living in a fictional world all her own. She is obviously attention-seeking and has very questionably morals. If you can, try to confront the mother with tangible evidence. Maybe print out what she says on her social media account(s). In the end, the only thing you can do is try to support your friend. Some people REFUSE to see the truth. The mother may be in denial forever, if you keep pushing her to see the truth and she keeps refusing you cannot do anything about it. The mother may literally go to her grave still thinking her daughter is wonderful. It is very clear she is acting out for attention, but that in combination with thinking she is possessed is pretty troublesome. Again, just try to get tangible evidence and if it doesn't work there really isn't anything you can do for her until she is forced to get help or voluntarily gets help.
