Does forwarding spam to spam@uce.gov actually work?
I was just wondering if anyone here has sent their spam messages to spam@uce.gov? Does it actually work? What experiences have you had with it?

.gov means it's a government controlled e-mail address. If you are curious if it works or not, contact your government about it to see if this is an active service where you live. Sounds fake to me though. I've never heard of government controlling spam.

Yes,
Reporting spam to spam@uce.gov works on how many people report the spam. When the FTC’s spam database get numerous hits from a spam email address, this alerts the FTC of a problem email address. The problem is most people don’t forward the spam email, with header to the FTC (spam@uce.gov). |
