New to eBay. Please help.?
I'm fairly new to eBay and I'm planning on selling my gaming PC in return for a laptop for college. Last time I sold something eBay took 10% of the price. Does eBay only take that 10% when I put an item up with a buy now option, or does it also take the 10% when the item is being auctioned?
Any other tips when using eBay will be very helpful. Thanks. Ads |

Read ebay's help pages for new sellers and especially their fees page.
Be aware that new sellers are very vulnerable to scams when selling electronic/computer goods...be extra careful. |

Ebay takes 10% of the selling price, no matter if it was buy it now or auctioned. It is called the final value fee.
There is a fee to list an item depending on its value, and additional fee for adding a buy it now option. Ane then if paid via Paypal, Paypal takes a percentage too off the total cost of the transaction (cost of item and shipping) Check ebay fees, and paypal fees for more details. |
