EBAY WILL I BE CHARGED FOR ENDING A AUCTION LISTING?
wanted to revise the listing and change it from auction to fixed price buy it now, but it will not let me, theres no bids on it or anything, but I thought I read somewhere you cant change auction style listings to fixed price buy it now, so my only option is to end the listing. but will I be charged a fee for this? I have several listings I want to change to fixed price from auction style, there are no bids on any of the listings, so again will I be charged??!?! thanks for your help!
my listing fee was free, so they wont charge me final value fees or anything from ending this earlie?? Ads |

Yes they'll still charge you the listing fee if you end it early.
You won't pay the commission though on the bid, you only pay that if the item sells. You have a number of charges with eBay Listing Fee - This is charged the minute you list the item Extras fee - this is charged for any extras like super gallery, this is also charged the same as the listing fee when the auction starts. Commission - this is only charged when the item is sold and is based on how much the item sold for PayPal charges - this is charged by PayPal/Ebay for accepting the payment for the item and is only charged when the item is sold, this charge is reversed if a refund is sent. PayPal bank charges - this is charged (again!!) by PayPal/Ebay to move your money into a bank account. Ads |

No, you cant change the sales format by revising. You can only add a Buy It Now to the auction format. You have to end the listing and do it again with the Fixed Price.
