Is adding someone on facebook through work illegal?
A guy walked into work (a video shop) and he seemed really cheerful and nice and we got along, so I looked at the last name on his account on the computer and entered it into facebook to try my luck. I found him and added him. Is this an invasion of privacy??

Hi,
Adding someone on Facebook through work is not a crime. Invasion of privacy would be reading through his emails. Good Luck! Ads |

Its not illegal however it is frowned upon by companies because you should be focused on work rather than social networking sites

If your boss finds out that your violating the policy at your workplace. Other than that, you're fine.
