Most effective way of advertising Local Dog walking/pet sitting business?
Hi These are the kinds of ways I am advertising at the moment:
- Yell.com (free ad) - Website - posters in shop windows - Facebook Page I had a call from yell.com to get my advert to the top and apparently have joined with google.. but I have not seen one good review so I'm not so sure but they were very certain... I have a few other options Which one do you think is most effective? Local Village magazine ( is sent to 10,000 households to local villages free) which costs £40 for the month Sign up to Dog walking now? Is this worth it? Post an advert in the local review paper send out my business cards around peoples houses ... Does anyone have any ideas for advertising? Any success stories of setting up a dog walking/pet sitting business? Thank you ! Ads |

My theory of advertising is, mouse to elephant.
Mouse = Get 3,000 business cards and hand them out Rabbit = Make inserts for local newspapers - they'll figure out a total price for you Horse = Advertise with low-cost ads in big newspapers Elephant = Advertise with high-cost ads in big newspapers |
