How do i get more storage on my ipod 4gen?
My ipod is always telling me oh you dont have enough storage to download this app or dont have enough storage to take a picture , my ipod has 16 GB i delete pictures & apps & it still says the same thing plus icloud gives you like 5GB free

iPod's are a closed system with no facility for upgrade or memory card storage. The only thing you can do is sell it & buy a bigger one.

You can't. So what you should do is upload the stuff on your ipod to your computer to make more room on your ipod, and you will still have your stuff all saved.

Go into settings -> general -> usage, and you can see a list of all the apps that are using the most storage on your iPod. Delete the apps that are using up a lot of storage and that you don't use/need.

Apple devices do not allow you to add memory. If you have already deleted things it may just be hanging on to the residue memory. They do that.
Go to your settings app then to iTunes and log out of your apple account. Turn your device off then on again and log into your iTunes account again that will release the residue being held and give you as much storage as is really left. Apple told me that when I was having similar issues on my iPad and it worked. |
