Wireless internet conncection - Can i switch between wired and wireless?
I am going to buy a router for a wireless internet connection.
Now, does that mean once it gets wireless it will be always wireless (since the ISP gives a username and password for this)? Or, can i switch to wired connection (that is putting the cable jack into the laptop again ) whenever i wish?? Ads |

You can use it as both. Moreover, you can also use wireless and ethernet at the same time if your router has ports behind to connect ethernet cables.

Yes. You also do not require a password for Ethernet connections

if you ask your isp the they will tell you the router name and model that will allow you to use both wired as well as wireless internet. If you are taking bsnl or mtnl wifi then they will give you the router that has both facilities.
