My mom has a drinking problem?
Last weekend my mom got pulled over for drunk driving she ran two people off the road. She got so lucky that the cop let her go, and then she got home could barley walk she posted threats to kill her self on fb and cops came back and took her to the hospital to make sure she's okay. They gave her medicine and a form to help her quit drinking and pills. She saw that she had a bad problem and a week later she comes home and has had 2 glasses of wine... I can't stop crying

It sounds like she's on the fast track to killing either herself or someone else. See if you can have someone help you get her into a rehab clinic or something.

What I would do first is pour out her bottles of whatever she's drinking whenever she's not looking or water it down, if that doesn't help at all which I'm assuming if her problem is big sit down and talk to her and tell her what she's doing is hurting you really bad and if that doesn't help tell your school psychiatrist or counseled so they can help remove you from the situation or a family member or friend someone you feel more comfortable going to.

SHE NEEDS AN INTERVENTION. CALL YOUR A.A. CHAPTER AND ASK ABOUT HOW YOU CAN GET HELP.
WHO ELSE IS AFFECTED BY HER DRINKING? THEY NEED TO GET TOGETHER FOR AN INTERVENTION WITH A QUALIFIED INTERVENTION MEDIATOR. ALSO AA HAS TEEN MEETINGS FOR PARENTS WHO ARE ALCOHOLICS. |
