Google Chrome wont start Windows 8?

I tried opening Google Chrome on windows 8 and it won't open. I tried un installing it and reinstalling it and it won't download right and open. I also tried restarting the computer and it still wouldn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks!
It also keeps opening automatically as an app

Is your windows version pirated ? Can u exactly tell me what happens when u try to open it? If it doesn't gets solved i can assist you through Teamviewer if u want or try reinstalling windows 8.
