Why do some people can't survive without Facebook?
Well...I mean literally.
I asked some of my friends in school this morning 'What if Facebook is gone from your life?' They gave me the face like I've just stabbed their heart with a knife. Ads |

any thing you have emotional feelings about is essential in some way. They get lot of emotional satisfaction from connecting on face book.

Because technology is taking over the world.
It needs to slow down. |

I can. I deleted mine. I guess they can't live without it because they have all there friends on there and they want to know what everyone is up to, and if they didn't they feel like left out..

Because it controls social interaction. They have to be on facebook because everyone else is and once they are in it, much of their real life social interaction feels like it depends on what happens on facebook too. It feels like their reputation is at risk if they don't keep it up on facebook. Knowledge is power and if they leave facebook they miss what's going on behind their backs.

I'd love to see Facebook die off like MySpace did - hahaha
I have 3 Facebook accounts, because having just 1 account is boring. To answer your question. People act like they can't live without it, because they've invested so much time into it. I only have a total of like 30 pics. But imagine a person with 3,000 pics of all their lifetime events. Then all of a sudden FB completely stops working - lol (that would hurt them) People don't even collect photos, and put together photo albums anymore. Welcome to the future. It's all electronic stuff taking over. |
