Wireless Internet connection
I just bought a Dell XPS 1530 laptop. I used the lan port to connect to my office server using ip 192.168.0.1, also used the wireless internet connection. The problem is the wireless network is established but I cannot connect to the Internet. I can if I remoce my lan chord from the laptop. Whats happening. can someone help?

check your ip address if it's set to "automatic" that should let you connect to the internet.
if not, do this in a desktop computer that has internet connection: go to start then run then type "CMD" without the quotes type ipconfig/all take note of the IP address, subnet mask, DNS servers and internet gateway. use those settings in your computer but change the last digit of your ip address.(example 192.168.0.15) Ads |
