So ages ago a guy I went to school with added me as a friend on facebook. I sent him a message and we got talking. Then he stopped.
I made contact with him again and the same thing happened (he stopped talking) so I left it. Then after months he sends me a message asking how I am and I suggested we get coffee - which we did. Since coffee, I'm always the one to initiate conversation and coffee. He's also the one to usually stop sending messages. He says he likes hanging out and talking to me, and when we catch up and talk everything goes well and it's not awkward at all. I can't tell if he just thinks I'm a friend, could be something more, or I'm annoying him - I have no idea! But I feel like that if he did feel something for me, he'd make contact first, wouldn't he? Yes. He would contact you first because if a guy really likes you then he'll do everything to make you happy even with just a simple conversation. i guess

Not necessarily. Could be he is just used to your guys dynamic of you contacting him first. Usually guys don't hang out with girls just to be friends. No point unless there is a chance of sex/relationship. Even if they tell themselves just friends... if there wasn't some part of their subconscious telling them, "there is a chance for some sex here" then they wouldn't hang out.

If he liked you as much as you like him, he would make just as much, if not, twice the effort to get in touch with you. I had the same situation with a guy I've known since I was 8. We flirted on and off during primary and high school then once we graduated it stopped. Then of course he added me on Facebook 3 years later and the flirting commenced, and stopped, commenced, then stopped. What I learnt was; he's not worth it haha. If a guy likes you, he won't send you mixed messages. Trust me . Move on, there's plenty of fish in the sea . xx
