Skype/FaceTime/Oovoo for homework instruction?

Hi, so I go to school roughly 450 miles away from my girlfriend, and i plan to help her with calculus when I'm at school. I plan to buy one of those writing pads, and doing example problems for her. Is there any app like FaceTime where what i write on the writing pad will show up on her screen in real time? Thanks for you input


PS. Can someone give me a name of a quality writing pad that is inexpensive? Thanks.
