what if you post a video on youtube which you do not own?
There was a video on facebook it was of a dog biting a car tyres it was a cctv footage bbc news uploaded it i downloaded it and post it on youtube

You should mention in the description where you got the video, and credit the original owner, otherwise you will be in trouble.

Very unlikely anyone will care or do anything.
In the event something happens youtube will notify you and block it i said countries. |

Obtaining any materials that do not belong to you, the owners may contact Youtube and report it as a stolen item if they find someone has used their rights. After it has been reported, Youtube has the rights to delete any Youtube accounts that further do not go along with their terms and rights acceptance law. Older occasions that I have seen many Youtube accounts becoming deleted were based on recording and uploading the Fifa world cup copyrighted music/song onto Youtube. |
