Why is Facebook's FBML being deprecated June 1st? Is there or will there be any way to use it after that?

Any Facebook app created on or after June 1st 2012 will not be allowed to use FBML. Why the change? And is there, or will there be, some sort of open-source project that will let developers continue to use FBML after the change? Like a script that will perform a run-time conversion from FBML to JavaScript? The reason I'm asking is because this change would otherwise force developers to learn how to interact with Facebook using JavaScript.

if you can learn FBML you can learn javascript - it's not that different
but to answer your question, no one knows "why" facebook is deprecating it, they just are Ads |
