What happened to Google search?
When I try to use Google,
Google gets bypassed and I see a Twitter site with useless results. In the URL box I see this Twitter, Inc. (US) | https://twitter.com/search?q=%22without+...top-search How can I get rid of the Twitter Twitter always comes up when I search for anything Ads |

reset the default search engine, the how to depends on what browser you're using. ... or you can just go to google.com and search there

what you're describing here is not you "actually using Google" - your browser's address bar is likely a multi-function address bar that allows you to go to web addresses/URLs or search directly such as Firefox or Chrome.

Twitter changed your default search to be set to Twitter.com.....they all pull that sneaky BS. Just reset your browser:
tools > internet option > home page > http://www.google.com tools > manage add-ons > search providers > http://www.google.com |
