Hosting no factors.. Domain name.. Think about it carefully. Use keyword rich phrases for your domain name.
e.g. John Smith in Michigan has a plumbing company. Don't buy http://www.johnsmithplumbing.com See if http://www.michiganplumber.com is free... or similar... Use your noddle and you're halfway there..... Ads |

Hosting can have an effect from an SEO point of view as Google wants to see pages loading quickly. If you have a poor host, say with an overloaded server, and you pages are slow to load you could find it harder to get high rankings.
It makes no different where you register your domain but it is better not to get it as part of the hosting package. This gives you flexibility to change hosts easily later, if this becomes necessary. |
