Hi won't need software just hard graft, creating backlinks etc. I would recommend dreamweaver for coding on-page seo, off page just blogs, forums, squidoo and here.

The Google Webmaster Tools offer free site analysis to assist in on site optimization.

For many, employing a freelancer in possession of automation tools is most cost effective. They can be found in sections of Webmaster and Internet Marketing forums.

Heavy duty spam automation tools, like those that locate blogs and post thousands of "flatter spam" comments are a a plague the internet could do without and provide marginal value.

One not inexpensive tool is the newly renovated SEnukeX it helps streamline the routine methods used to get free, lower grade links including blog comments, forum posts and article site submissions, it's viewed as evil by some but involved some degree oversight to operate. This tool may only be cost effective for owners of multiple sites.

Market Samuri, more geared for marketing research does have facilities for locating blog comment candidate sites and for doing keyword research.

Again, rather than investing in software you may be better off using online services that help streamline the process of social bookmarking, uploading promo videos, etc. there are also paid backlink services (not approved by search engines) who own their own online assets where they can provide search rank raising backlinks to your site, these links can be more valuable than the free ones automation tools can obtain. A significant number of paid links may not identified as such by the search engines and actually provide ranking benefit.

SEO PowerSuite helps you through the whole search engine optimization (SEO) process by breaking it up into a series of tasks. With this software, you can effectively do SEO without being an expert. This is suitable for small business to medium owners, and beginners to intermediate level internet marketers. This SEO software package consists of four tools like:

1.Rank Tracker
2. WebSite Auditor
3. SEO SpyGlass
4.LinkAssistant.

You can buy each one separately, or buy them together in one go at a cheaper price.

If you are asking for the best deal kind of thing, keep in mind that cloud-based web apps are usually faster though quite more expensive than desktop SEO tools some of which are pretty fast (though in this case the speed also depends on your computer's "muscle" strength).

The aforementioned SEO PowerSuite is definitely a favorite. It's a collection of 4 tools bundled into a one-stop website promotion toolkit. You can do pretty much all the important SEO things with it: keyword research, image SEO, video SEO, youtube rank tracking, website rank tracking, traffic monitoring (via google analtytics), backlink checks and backlink analysis, social media popularity tracking, link partner search and link campaign management, website optimization and SEO-friendly website redesign. Lots of other stuff but you get the idea.

The good thing about it is that the trial version never expires - use it for as long as you want. If you want some extra features like SEO reporting and data export, you can pay but if you don't you can stick with the free version, at least for when you are testing the waters.

I honestly think that from the cost/benefit perspective SEO PowerSuite is the best choice. But if I were you I would try several tools by most reputable providers (do your research) and then decide on which one you like best.

SEO software's are not always the best bet. Optimizing your website using a software cannot be a full-proof method. Instead it can backfire at times, if it functions against the widely accepted SEP practices. It is recommended that you follow trusted and authenticated sources like Google, Microsoft Bing, and Yahoo and read more about their ranking methodology. Best could be to hire the SEO consulting services of an interactive design agency like Resultrix. They're a search engine optimization company based in Seattle, India, and Singapore.
